Jonny in Oschersleben to decide ADAC F4 title
Just 3 of 21 ADAC F4 races remain to be contested as the Red Bull Junior Jonny arrives in Oschersleben. He heads the count, 23 points ahead of jis nearest rival, with 75 points still on offer. Van Amersfoort Racing should carry home the Championship, but with the 19 best results being counted to decide the title, the maths do needs watching.
Jonny will watch the others: “We tested there right at the start of the season before the lockdown and all that. A long time ago so it might take a little while to get back into the track but I really liked it. Last time, in the test, we were really fast so hopefully we can do the same, it’s a good track.”
So is it time to be cautious, or go for the wins?
“Well, winning helps because you get more points…. But I think I will be trying to finish close to the two people who are still in the championship or ahead of them. Some people who are not in the championship are not going to be so cautious, for me I just need to think about those who I am battling in the championship with.”
