2024 FIA Formula e in-season test

Motorsport UK Academy driver, Jonny Edgar will participate in the 2024 FIA Formula e in-season test for the second consecutive season at the Tempelhof Airport circuit, this time, with the DS PENSKE team.

Jonny: “I am very excited to get the opportunity to test a Formula e car again after I got a brief experience in the latest spec Formula e car last year. I’d like to thank Jay Penske for the opportunity and I’m looking forward to getting back into the single seater car again.”

Jonny will pilot the DS E-TENSE FE23 at the historic German airfield (which this year features a new layout) following the 2024 Berlin E-Prix on Monday, May 13th, 2024.

The DS Penske team currently sit in 5th place in the teams’ standings after the Monaco E-Prix where current drivers Stoffel Vandorme and Jean-Eric Vergne finished 3rd and 4th.

Before the test, Jonny Edgar will be competing in the second European Le Mans Series round this weekend at the Paul Ricard circuit, France for the 4 Hours of Le Castellet with AO Racing by TF Sport. The race will be streamed live on the championship’s official YouTube channel.
